Art Nouveau

The Art Nouveau movement refers to a period in time during 1890-1920. This movement can be recognised by its use of natural materials and silhouettes, ashy colours, and botanical elements.

Below is an example of interior design / architecture during this period by Ödön Lechner, a Hungarian architect. The building is the Museum of Applied Arts and is said to be the most representative example of Lechner’s style.
